Usage
How do I activate my custom Bindrune or Sigil?
Charging or activating a sigil is all about focusing your energy and intention into the symbol so it can “do its job.” Here are some common and effective ways you can charge your sigil or bindrune:
Meditation or Visualization: Focus on the personalized sigil while meditating. Visualize energy flowing into it – bright light, flames, or even your breath – infusing it with your intent. I recommend doing this in dimmed candlelight.
Emotional Release: Charge the custom sigil during a peak emotional moment – joy, excitement, or even rage – letting that emotional energy fuel the symbol. You visualize that energy flowing into the symbol powering it up.
Burning Ritual: Print or redraw the commissioned sigil or bindrune – you can do this on paper or on a piece of wood, then burn it while concentrating on your intention. Fire is a powerful transformative force and this method symbolizes release and activation. In my opinion it makes sense to visualize the smoke flying up to the gods so they take the task from you. The best thing to do is to stop thinking about it and just forget about it after you burnt it.
Moonlight or Sunlight: Leave the sigil under the light of the full moon (for protection, intuition) or the sun (for strength, vitality) to charge it with celestial energy. This is rather something to do additionally to anything else you do.
Sexual Energy: Some practitioners use orgasm as a way to supercharge a sigil with raw, focused energy – this is common in chaos magick traditions. You could paint the bindrune or sigil on your partner or hang it somewhere you can look at and focus on at the time of orgasm, sucking up the symbol into you while you burst with energy.
Ritual: Incorporating your custom sigil into a larger ritual or spellworking is a great possibility too of course.
After charging the sigil, it is considered necessary by chaos magicians to repress all memory of it. In the words of Austin Osman Spare, there should be “a deliberate striving to forget it”. But this also depends on the use of your custom sigil and your belief.
How effective is Sigil Magick?
Generally speaking it is one of the simplest and most effective branches of magick. However, the efficacy of sigil magick often hinges on the practitioner’s belief and the clarity of their intention. While some view sigils as psychological tools that work by influencing the subconscious mind by bypassing the ego, others see them as energetic conduits that shape reality through will. In both cases, belief acts as a catalyst – amplifying the manifestation of the desired outcome. The more a person trusts in the process and connects emotionally with the intention behind the sigil, the more potent the results tend to be. It’s also important to consider factors like timing, emotional state, and whether the intention aligns with one’s values and sense of truth. Doubt, contradiction, or scattered focus can dilute the energy, while confidence and purpose charge it. In essence, sigil magick works best when heart, mind, and spirit are all aligned in belief and commitment.
From a mystical perspective, sigil magick taps into the unseen currents of the universe, acting as a bridge between the material and the spiritual. When a sigil is crafted with true intention and charged with focused energy, it becomes more than just a symbol – it becomes a living vessel of will. Belief, in this context, is not merely psychological but a sacred force that awakens the sigil and calls subtle energies into motion. Many practitioners see this as a conversation with the divine, the universe, or the deeper self, where symbols become spells and intention becomes reality. To work effectively, one must approach the practice with reverence, intuition, and trust in the unseen.
It’s also important to take real-world action alongside your magical work, giving your intention space to manifest. A sigil may focus your will and energy, but it still needs practical steps to help bring your desire into reality. Think of it as setting the stage – if your sigil is meant to attract a certain kind of person, but you never go out or engage with others, you’re making it much harder for that intention to unfold. Magick works best when it flows in step with effort – when you move toward your goal, you create openings for the unseen forces to support you.
What is Sigil Magick?
Sigil magick is a form of symbolic magic that uses personally crafted symbols to manifest desires, intentions, or changes in one’s reality. It’s a practice rooted in chaos magick but draws from older magical traditions as well. At its core, sigil magick is about transforming a specific intention into a visual symbol, charging it with emotional or psychic energy, and releasing that energy into the subconscious or the universe to bring about the desired outcome. Sigil magick is popular because it’s accessible, adaptable, and doesn’t require elaborate rituals or tools. It empowers individuals to become co-creators of their reality using creativity, intuition, and focused intent. Whether used for personal growth, protection, healing, or manifestation, sigil magick is a versatile and powerful practice.
Can I create a Sigil myself?
Of course. That’s the beauty of it. Everyone can create a sigil. There are countless tutorials online and inside of books that describe how you do it. Just look it up. Your sigils will probably end up looking completely different from what I do. The quality of custom sigils and bindrunes I create are the result of many years of experiments and practice. In my opinion the “visual language” of a glyph influences its energy. It may feel very different working with a personalized custom sigil I crafted for you.
Do you offer physical Sigil Commisions?
I can do physical artefacts and objects too, but that’s more like an art commission and requires us to talk about what you have in mind. I did several grimoire pages in the past – full color illustrations of sigils on handmade paper. The limits of the possible are determined by your imagination..
Will my Sigil be kept private or shared publicly?
Since the designs I create are my intellectual property, I post or show some to the public to display my skills. I never tell who is the client and I also never tell anyone the intention. So it is pretty useless to the ones seeing it online. If you don’t want me to post or show your custom sigil or bindrune just tell me and I will respect your wish.
Do I need to believe in magic for a Sigil to work?
No. But it is a technique with tight ties to magic, so no you don’t need it, but it helps. And while you are thinking about this please ask yourself: Who is my current worldview serving? Others or myself? Why would I keep a materialist or physicalist belief-system, if it actually keeps my potential down? If it limits the possibilities of my influence on the world and my subjective reality?
How long does it take for a Sigil to work?
If it is about something you desire to happen, it is impossible to tell when it will manifest. I had sigil spells that took years to manifest and I only realized afterwards when I checked my journal. Sometimes sigils impact reality after one day. It depends on your beliefs, your actions, the way you charge and use it.. If it is about a state, yourself, or a feeling it can take only days. But all of this is not my responsibility.
I just create the tool. You got to use it.
What’s the difference between a Sigil and a Bindrune?
A bindrune is, in essence, a sigil – a symbol charged with intent. While the term “sigil” generally refers to magical symbols created from pictorial elements or letter-based merges derived from a written statement of intent, bindrunes stand apart through their unique connection to the real old runic tradition of our pagan ancestors.
Bindrunes are created by combining multiple runes – ancient symbols from the runic alphabets – into a single, personalized and unified design. Unlike modern sigil-making, where the focus is often solely on distilling a sentence or desire into a stylized glyph, the process of crafting a bindrune draws upon an additional layer. When I create a bindrune, I don’t just use the runes found within the written-out intention; I also intuitively and intentionally select additional runes that resonate with the deeper meaning, essence, and magical power behind that intention. Each rune carries its own archetypal energy, and mythic weight, which adds depth and potency to the final bindrune design.
What are the potential risks of using Bindrunes and Sigils?
Only when you use an intention for your custom sigil that is backfiring. That’s why it is important to be wise about its formulation. If your intention you send me should be problematic or could be optimized I will contact you and tell you about it and help with refinement. Another possible danger is if you get a sigil or bindrune tattooed that is supposed to fulfill a purpose, which at some point may be fulfilled and then it just continues working which may lead to an overkill effect you don’t want anymore. It is possible to avoid this by combining multiple sigils where one is like a safety mechanism. Don’t worry though, I’m gonna advise you accordingly.

Can I use my custom Sigil or custom Bindrune for Protection?
For protection against negative energies or harmful entities, I can create a sigil according to its intended use. Important is the well-considered intention about safety, shielding, or protection. Once created, the sigil can be charged through meditation, ritual, or emotional focus, imbuing it with protective energy. It can then be carried with you, drawn on objects, or placed above a door or in a space to act as a ward, creating a kind of energetic boundary that repels negativity and reinforces personal sovereignty. Over time, this symbol becomes a personal talisman of defense, subtly working to maintain spiritual and emotional safety.
Our ancestors used symbols of protection on amulets they wore, patterns they sew into their garments, gestures and rituals. It can also be a certain herb you put up on a certain spot in your house.
What’s the best way to use a Sigil in daily life?
You mean if you don’t do a ritual and destroy it, but keep it as a talisman or amulet? Here is a list of usages to inspire you:
Paint or carve it into home decor: This can be epic and make it omnipresent in your life. After a while you may hardly notice the sigil and it will merge into your subconsciousness.
Inscribe the symbol into a candle: Use a really big one in a color that aligns with your intention and then make it a daily ritual burning it.
Carry the sigil with you: For example in a pocket of your jacket or inside a bag you always use (e.g. for protection).
Print or redraw your custom sigil for your altar: Either you order a finely crafted original artwork by me or you just do it yourself.
Enchant tools or objects: Magicians have always done this to power up and consecrate their tools. Paint, carve or scratch it into it. Some say magical tools or weapons are supposed to get a name AND a sigil carved or painted onto them.
Paint your body: You can either go stealth by using essential oil for it or you use something like henna and temporarily tattoo yourself. Painting yourself with a water-soluble color and then bathing is a great idea for ritual too.
Sew it into your clothing: Our ancestors knew of magical weaving and sewing and used this technique all the time.
Commission or craft jewelry: Great idea and pretty self explanatory. I might work together with crafters to offer this here too in the future.
Use it as a desktop or phone wallpaper: Contact me so I can create a personalized wallpaper for you in the resolution you need.
Use it as an avatar online: Should be considered well and depends on your intention if this is a good idea. Need help? Just ask.
Meditate on it: If you got a meditation routine anyway this is perfect to implement and to slowly charge it more and more.
Can I use my custom Sigil for a Tattoo?
Yes, but the regular sigil and bindrune services are just for ephemeral or personal (private) use. If you want it as a tattoo you need to pick the tattoo option. Why? Because tattoos are often including ideas and details that are beyond my usual sigil service, where I just deliver your custom sigil or custom bindrune after getting your info. Tattoos may need some correction or alteration after they are finished or I need to do sketches. Often customers have special wishes or references I got to consider.
Using a custom sigil I created for you for a tattoo without my permission (by picking the tattoo option) is against the terms of my service. And that’s not cool. Please don’t.
Can I use my custom Sigil for Jewelry?
Only if it is used for unique pieces for yourself or as a gift to a beloved one (although you should be cautious with that). If you are asking because jewelry is your business and you want to create a series, you need to contact me so we can talk about the vision and project.
Can I use my Custom Sigil for my Brand?
Commercial use is fine as long as we talked about it and I get an idea of the scope of your brand and vision. As a graphic designer I need to tell you: commercial use and design needs a lot more consideration since for example a brand symbol or professional logo needs to work on a small scale too! It needs to be recognizable and clear even when scaled down drastically. Please contact me with your idea, vision and relevant references and all the info you can give me so that I can evaluate the project well. I will charge you outside of the shop, since every commercial project is unique. I always do 50% up front and 50% after it’s finished and you are satisfied.
Can Sigils be used to harm others?
Surely, but I will not aid in such practices. Understanding metaphysics it also is not a very wise way to use your energy. It’s always better to focus on something you want instead of something you don’t want. That’s the principle of “Pendulums” (See Reality Transurfing) or Egregores. Fighting against an entity or political party is actually feeding their Egregore. The energy goes where you focus it. So better create a better world and solutions instead, okay?
